OUR HISTORY
Where does the name “María Trifulca” come from?
We pull the history of Seville with the goal of being part of it. Our name, our decoration, our environment… everything has a meaning.
Did you know that Seville had a beach? Its name among the inhabitants of the city of the Mid-Twentieth Century was that of María Trifulca. Our restaurant in Seville pays tribute to this beach that was on the banks of the Guadalquivir, like us.
The memory of the city keeps the existence of a well-known stall in the already extinct beach. This position was run by María, a woman with a ‘grumpy’ character, which led her to earn the nickname of ‘María Trifulca’ and to give name to the famous beach of Seville.
In our restaurant you will not find anyone grumpy, but you will find the marine essence of Seville. An environment bathed by the Guadalquivir in which you will feel at home.
